PANEL 1
It’s a gorgeous day with blue skies loaded with mountains of white clouds. Lots of greenery surrounds the paved road. CAT rides on the back of a female CENTAUR, holding onto the pommel of the saddle. The CENTAUR wears a blue button-up shirt and matching blue headband. Her flowing dark hair goes down to her human side waist. (I’m not sure how her hair going down her horse side waist would work.)
CAT: How long have you been in Ireland?
CENTAUR: Three years, but it feels longer.
PANEL 2
A front view of the duo as they continue down the road.
CAT: In a bad way or…?
CENTAUR: Not at all. I love Ireland, though the beaches are not magnificent. I miss the beaches in Greece.
PANEL 3
For a variety of scenery, we’re now looking at the back of CAT and the CENTAUR. There’s nothing remarkable about this, but the CENTAUR does appear to have a great mane and tail care routine.
CENTAUR: And you, how long have you been in Ireland?
CAT: Not even 24 hours.
PANEL 4
More Irish countryside scenery, now with the inclusion of a telephone pole and wires in the distance.
CENTAUR: And you are wide awake? Astounding! How has the jet lag not affected you?
CAT: Lots of power naps! In fact, I’m due for one in about three hours.
PANEL 5
A bird’s eye view of the countryside. Trees and shrubbery hug the curving road. Brown farm fields with loopin tractor lines fill the rest of the areas.
CENTAUR: Will you be staying long in Ireland?
CAT: I don’t know yet. My benefactor left enough that I can live comfortably for a few years… but I need to do more than lounge around that house. I need a purpose.
PANEL 6
The road now has a white stripe down the center. An overpass with foliage drooping over the railing indicates that they’re nearing the city.
CENTAUR: We are nearing the city. Shall I trot?
CAT: A gallop is faster, right?
CENTAUR: Correct.
CAT: Let’s gallop, then.
PANEL 7
A typical road with a row of buildings colored like pale candy. The CENTAUR runs along the sidewalk (or whatever it’s called in this country). Some sheepherders contain their flock with orange magical msits, although it looks like they’re setting the poor animals on fire. In the middle of the road, a couple of dwarves stroll through; the male wears a green tracksuit and his female companion wears a lime green gingham dress and sips on an orange smoothie. The tail of a serpent sneaks off the left side of the panel. A Muslim man bikes through, carrying a carton of coffee in his basket.
CAT: (thinking) I can get used to this.
PANEL 8
The duo run along St. Patrick Street, surrounded by tall department store buildings. A couple of delivery vans take up the road. In the distance, a scattering of people cover a crosswalk.
CAT: (thinking) I can like these buildings. I can get used to the culture.
PANEL 9
The scenery rushes by CAT in a blur as she looks up, a hopeful expression on her face.
CAT: (thinking) Maybe one day… I’ll call this place home.
