A disembodied voice says, Barty Griffin... you have finally come home... come closer... come into the light... A burst of white light appears in the darkness.

Barty Griffin, deceased and appearing 30 years of age, squints in the light. He says, About bloody time! No offense, your most Almighty, but you've got a terrible habit of making your creations wait. Now that I've arrived, how about that thing you...

Barty trails off, saying, Promised... to... tell me... He is surrounded in the darkness by white eyes. Ragged, squinty, narrow, wide, bug-eyed. Dozens of them. Barty simply stands there, hands on hips.

Barty regards the scene, looking more bemused than frightened or concerned. He says, Not the welcoming committee I was expecting. Near him, a wispy figure outlined in white and filled with shredded essence, holds up ghostly shackles and chain. It says, Pete sends his regards.

Trying a different format and length. I’ve been inspired by the Noble Knight Adventures shorts on YouTube, and while I won’t do any live-action material for TEF (you should be thankful), I feel more confident about continuing this project.
