The Comic

Cat Modean’s pathetic life is completely upended with a letter from Ireland. It’s the dream she never knew she had: she’s the sole heir to a small estate left by a TV producer.
Now that she has the tools to start afresh, Cat attempts to make sense of where she’s heading. She could just find the courage to improve her life—if otherworldly or mundane forces don’t wreck it first.
The Eoin Fame is updated as scenes are completed. It doesn’t follow a strict schedule, but a new scene every 3-4 weeks can be expected.
The Artist

Ellie Coral AKA The Cartoonist of Eoin Fame (TCEF if you’re feeling initialistic) has a keen interest in Irish culture, drawing, and visual storytelling. Combining these elements seemed like a good idea for this sapient bundle of nerves. Now she spends most of her days researching Irish counties, mythology, and culture and trying to wrangle those ideas into a concrete story.
In her offline life, Ellie is a grant researcher, and as such, she’s very busy. She uses creative projects like The Eoin Fame to wind down and remind herself that she has a life outside of pursuing funding streams for clients.
She divides her time between North Carolina and the fringes of her imagination. She thinks it’s odd that some creators refer to themselves in the third person in their bios, but she decided to give it a go for this one.
You can visit her main domain at elliecoral.com.
The Site
TEF is currently hosted on WordPress.com as an experiment in web design, marketing, and patience. Rather than have the project self-hosted, and consequently struggle with getting traffic, Ellie thought she would try having it away from her other domains. We’ll see how that turns out.
As for the designing aspect of WordPress.com, Ellie finds the interface frustrating and unintuitive. She would much rather deal with the self-hosted option since that offers more control and customization.
As for the patience aspect, Ellie had very little of it to begin with, and it’s being slowly depleted the more she fiddles with the Gutenberg blocks that have been forced upon her.
Time will tell if she eventually migrates the project to a self-hosted domain. In the meantime, she apologizes for any unappealing aspects of the site itself. As for the unappealing aspects of the comic itself, well, she’s doing her best.
